AutoPVTM is a computational design solution developed by 7SecondSolar that uses advanced algorithms and processes to automate detailed designs of large complex Solar PV installations, delivering outputs such as design reports, schedules and bills of quantity, engineering-quality drawings and advanced interactive 3D renders of solar plants: at light speed.

Our top Solar PV engineers host three-day, in-person training courses. These comprehensive courses consist of the basic theory of how Solar PV works, introductions to the design of large Solar PV farms, AutoCAD and how to use it to develop layouts, case studies, and an assessment. This is an excellent opportunity for people (students) from engineering and science backgrounds to learn some fundamental industry skills.
While the course work and the work that the XTN freelancers will do is shaped around engineering tools and concepts, we, of course, welcome anyone who has a mathematical and/or science/technical background and who will be comfortable working with CAD software and develop spatial designs based on technical inputs. Participants must, however, be at least 18 years old.
Once qualified and accredited as a 7SecondSolar Sage, participants can join our exclusive XT Network of AutoPVTM contributors, which develops large-scale PV plant layouts.
